Day 1: Arrive in Accra

We meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel to rest. In the evening, a relaxed welcome dinner with a first taste of Ghanaian cooking.

Day 2: Accra

Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, Independence Square and the Black Star Gate, then Jamestown and its lighthouse. The afternoon is for the arts centre and Makola Market.

Day 3: Cape Coast and Elmina

A scenic drive west. A guided visit to Cape Coast Castle, then Elmina Castle and the harbour, with a seafood lunch. Overnight on the coast.

Day 4: Kakum and the beach

The Kakum canopy walk in the morning, when the forest is at its most alive. The afternoon is free on the beach.

Day 5: Kumasi
