How do I book?

Which currencies and payment methods can I use?
We can quote in US dollars, pounds, euros or Ghana cedis. Payment can be made by bank transfer, card or Mobile Money. We will confirm the options with your quote.
What if my plans change?
Terms for changes and cancellations are set out clearly in your quote before you pay a deposit.
Can you plan trips for families, groups or events?
Yes. We plan for families with children, multigenerational groups, weddings, school trips and corporate retreats.

Entry rules, health and money.
Do I need a visa or vaccinations?
Most visitors need a visa and a yellow fever vaccination certificate. Rules change, so please check with the Ghana embassy or official government sources before you travel. We can supply supporting letters.
What is the currency?
Ghana uses the cedi. We advise you on cards, cash and Mobile Money when we confirm your trip.
What should I pack?
Light, breathable clothing, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and comfortable walking shoes. For Mole or Wli Falls add a light rain jacket. We send a tailored list with your itinerary.
What about plugs and electricity?
Ghana uses 230 volt electricity. Sockets are commonly types D and G, so bring a universal adapter.

What to expect once you arrive.
Is Ghana safe for visitors?
Ghana is widely regarded as one of Africa’s more stable and welcoming destinations. We use insured vehicles and licensed guides, and we brief every group before departure.
What language is spoken?
English is the official language, so you will be understood almost everywhere. Many Ghanaians also speak local languages such as Twi, Ga and Ewe, and enjoy teaching a few greetings.
What time zone is Ghana in?
Ghana is on Greenwich Mean Time all year, with no daylight saving changes.
Will I have connectivity?
Mobile coverage is good in cities and towns. It can be patchy in national parks and remote areas. We can help you arrange a local SIM.
